Job description =

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Dental Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing dental insurance claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, and resolving any billing discrepancies. Your role will involve communicating with insurance companies and dental providers to facilitate efficient billing processes. Additionally, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maximize revenue.

Responsibilites =

  • Process and submit dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients prior to treatment.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve claim rejections or denials.
  • Provide assistance and clarification to patients regarding their insurance coverage and billing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient billing information and insurance claims.
  • Stay updated on changes in dental coding and insurance regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental providers and office staff to optimize billing practices and revenue cycle management.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the dental office operations.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Dental Billing Specialist or similar role in a dental office setting. At Least 2 years of dental billing experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of dental billing procedures, CDT codes, and dental insurance plans
    • Proficiency in dental practice management software and billing systems
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing claims.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
    • Certification in dental billing and coding is preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in dental billing or related fields is a plus.
    • Full English proficiency (interviews will be in English)
    • Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with G-suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc); High-speed Internet, PC with two screens, headset and a webcam
    • Excellent communication ability
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    Benefits
