The Deduction Specialist is accountable for effectively researching, analyzing, documenting and resolving a variety of Retail deduction claim types. The Deduction Specialist will need to work closely with internal operations and sales personnel and the customers in their assigned portfolio to resolve unwarranted deductions and collect outstanding AR within desired timeline.
This is a remote position that can be performed anywhere within the US but will work on an EST zone schedule.
Pay Range: $26.98 to $34.51/hr

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for effectively researching, analyzing, documenting and resolving a variety of Retail deduction claim types in accordance with Primo Brands' standards and procedures. Additionally, this individual will support senior team members in deduction resolution, as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible clearing valid deductions in a timely manner
- Pursue recoverable dollars quickly and aggressively
- Research and Identify root cause of recurring deduction issues
- Work with Key Account Sales and Route Operations to identify and correct any issues causing loss
- Manage and maintain A/R for assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure that all discrepancies are handled in a timely manner
- Manage electronic storage of backup documentation. Includes tracking deduction reasons, bill of ladings, contracts, promotions and other documents required for support of the deduction.
- Maintain internal/external deduction reason code cross-reference tables
- Maintain reports
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by management
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 3 years’ experience in deduction resolution and credit/collections in a business-to-business environment
- Detailed-oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
- Effectively communicate both internally and externally
- Ability to learn and manage multiple systems, portals and customer interfaces
- Oracle or SAP experience preferred
