As an Insurance Consultant, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers and financial advisers, providing expert support across life insurance products, policies, applications and claims. You’ll build strong relationships, resolve enquiries and work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

The role:

• Handling inbound calls from customers and financial advisers
• Providing clear and accurate information on life insurance policies, premiums, claims and products
• Resolving customer and adviser enquiries promptly and professionally
• Assisting with applications, policy updates and other administrative requirements
• Building strong relationships through empathy, active listening and solutions-focused service
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of life insurance products, policies and processes
• Working closely with internal teams to resolve complex enquiries
• Ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently and within agreed service levels

You will have

• Proven customer service or phone-based support experience
• 1–2+ years’ experience in life insurance is highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of life insurance, including underwriting, new business and life products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong phone manner with the ability to explain complex information clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong empathy, patience and active listening skills
