Citizens Advice Newcastle is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic customer services adviser to join our busy team at Newcastle City Library, right in the heart of the City centre. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in helping people to access our advice services. You will welcome and assist clients, book appointments, support busy walk-in advice sessions and ensure that people receive the help they need in a professional and compassionate manner.
The role also includes providing administrative support to our staff and volunteers and working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. You will be highly organised self-motivated, and committed to delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

- We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is highly organised and able to manage a varied workload.
- Has strong administrative and IT skills.
- Is committed to providing excellent client care.
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Shares the values and aims of Citizens Advice.
