About the Rol

eOur client is a well-established medical device business based in Kildare, supporting customers and healthcare organisations with a range of specialist products and services

.They are now seeking a Supply Chain Specialist / Customer Service Specialist to join their team. This is a varied role combining customer service, order processing and supply chain coordination, working closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Contracts and Finance

.The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential

.Key Responsibilitie

• sAct as a key point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls, queries and requests
• .Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• .Manage orders from initial receipt through to delivery
• .Liaise closely with Purchasing to ensure product availability and timely fulfilment
• .Coordinate shipments both in and out of the business
• .Manage products requiring cold-chain or controlled-environment transportation, ensuring strict timelines are maintained
• .Work closely with Engineering, Contracts and Finance teams to resolve customer and operational queries
• .Monitor order status and proactively communicate any delays or issues
• .Maintain accurate records across internal systems
• .Assist with purchasing and supply chain administration
• .Ensure customer requirements and delivery deadlines are consistently met
• .Identify and resolve issues quickly and professionally
• .Support continuous improvement across customer service and supply chain processes

.Candidate Profil

eThe ideal candidate will have

• :Previous experience in supply chain, order processing, customer service or logistics coordination
• .Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• .Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• .Ability to manage multiple orders, priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• .Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• .Experience working across multiple internal departments
• .Confidence dealing with customers and resolving queries
• .Strong IT and administration skills
• .A proactive approach to problem solving

.Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences sectors would be advantageous, particularly where the candidate has experience dealing with controlled products, strict delivery requirements or regulated environments
