Customer Success Manager
Cologne
Become the trusted partner for production companies across Germany.
Our client is a leading provider of production management software trusted by some of the world's top content creators and broadcasters. They power 1,000+ productions across 15 countries, serving companies managing budgets from £2M to £100M+.
They are now scaling in the German market. They need someone exceptional to be the face of their company to German-speaking production companies.
The Opportunity
You will be the customer success leader for German production companies. Not a salesperson - a trusted advisor who ensures every client extracts maximum value from their platform.
You will own the complete customer journey. From onboarding and implementation, through adoption and expansion. You are the person clients know they can call. You understand their workflows, solve their problems, and become their advocate inside the organisation.
This is hands-on work. You will conduct training sessions, run business reviews, troubleshoot issues, and help clients solve real problems. You will work closely with their product team, surface customer needs, and help shape how the product evolves.
The Person
- 3+ years in client-facing project management. You have built and executed implementation plans, trained users, managed complex timelines, and built strong client relationships.
- Fluent in German, proficient in English. You can communicate clearly in both languages with clients and their international team.
- Genuinely client-focused. You are invested in whether clients succeed. You build trust and become a valued partner, not just managing a portfolio.
- Organised and disciplined. You can juggle multiple clients in different phases, prioritise what matters, and stay engaged over time. You are looking for a role where you can build deep, long-term client relationships.
- Nice to haves: Production or media industry background. Finance system implementation experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Basic technical understanding (HTML, CSS, client-server model). Willingness to travel to Cologne 1x per month.
What You Get
- Remote role based in Germany (Cologne or Berlin preferred).
- A small, dynamic company (30 people) building something real. Your work directly impacts how they grow and how clients succeed.
- Structured onboarding. 2-3 months of training and mentoring. You will learn the product, the market, and be ready to run independently.
- Working with a product that solves real problems. Production companies have spent years juggling spreadsheets and fragmented systems. This company is their solution.
