Why Harvey At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started. Role Overview We're seeking a Manager, Enterprise Application Engineering to build and lead the engineering team behind Harvey's internal business systems. You'll manage a group of Enterprise Application Engineers and AI Enablement Engineers who build the applications, integrations, and agents that Harvey's business teams run on — and you'll stay hands-on in the code and architecture yourself. This is Harvey's first Business Technology leadership role in Dublin, so you'll also anchor the EMEA engineering bench for BizTech as the company scales internationally. You'll inherit a small nucleus and hire out from there, which means your first year is as much about recruiting, defining the team's charter, and setting the engineering bar as it is about shipping. The ideal candidate is a working manager: someone who has built internal applications and integrations at a fast-moving company, has led a small engineering team, and is genuinely excited about applying AI agents to internal business problems rather than just talking about it. Harvey builds AI for legal professionals - the internal bar has to match the external one. At Harvey, we value Decisiveness, Simplicity, and the mindset that Job's Not Finished. We move fast, prioritize clarity, and are always striving for excellence. If this resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Build and lead the team. Hire, onboard, and develop a Dublin-based team of Enterprise Application Engineers and AI Enablement Engineers. Own the interview loop, ramp plans, and performance for the function. Stay hands-on. Spend a meaningful share of your time in the work - designing systems, reviewing code, writing integrations, unblocking your engineers on production issues. You set the technical bar by demonstrating it. Own the internal application layer. Take responsibility for the custom applications, services, and automations that sit on top of and between Harvey's core platforms (Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Okta, Marketo, Zendesk, Google Workspace, Slack, Zip, Linear, Notion), including their reliability, security posture, and lifecycle. Drive AI enablement into the business. Lead the team that puts agents, MCP servers, and internal AI tooling into the hands of Harvey’s teams - building the connective plumbing to internal systems, the evaluation and guardrail practices that make it safe, and the enablement that makes it stick. Partner with business and systems owners. Work directly with teams across Finance, People, GTM, Marketing, Customer Experience, Legal, and Workplace leaders to turn ambiguous business problems into scoped, sequenced engineering work - and to say no clearly when something shouldn't be built. Establish engineering standards. Define how this team writes, tests, deploys, documents, and monitors what it builds. Introduce the practices that scale a growing team without adding process for its own sake. Anchor BizTech in EMEA. Provide senior BizTech presence in Dublin for a growing international office and region, and hold enough overlap with US stakeholders to stay tightly coupled to the wider org. Make build-vs-buy calls. Assess when a business need is better solved by configuration, a vendor, an integration, or custom code - and make that call with cost, security, and long-term maintenance in view. What You Have Minimum 2 years of engineering management experience, and 7+ years of hands-on enterprise application, integration, or internal platform engineering. Hands-on engineering depth in a modern language (Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar) and real experience designing and operating API-based integrations between business systems. Working knowledge of the enterprise SaaS landscape - CRM, HRIS, ERP, IdP, Marketing automation, and support / CX platforms (Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Okta, Marketo/Braze, Zendesk, or comparable) - and how business processes like Lead-to-Cash, Hire-to-Retire, and the post-sale support lifecycle actually flow across them. Demonstrated experience applying LLMs or AI agents to real production problems, with a clear point of view on evaluation, guardrails, and where the technology does and doesn't hold up. Track record of hiring and developing engineers, and of raising the technical bar on a team you inherited or built. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment. Bonus Points: Experience standing up a Business Technology, internal tools, or enterprise engineering function in a new office or region. Background at a high-growth B2B SaaS company scaling through 2,000+ employees. Hands-on work with MCP, agent orchestration frameworks, or LLM gateway and evaluation tooling. Fluency with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a daily working practice. Experience with enterprise iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato) and event-driven integration patterns. Exposure to legal, professional services, or another regulated industry. Depending on your location, an Applicant Privacy Notice may apply to you.
