Role Description Experienced Travel Agent role is home based position and be an associate on my company. The Travel Agent will consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, recommend suitable cruise and travel options, and prepare detailed itineraries. Daily responsibilities include managing reservations, coordinating travel arrangements such as cruises, hotels, and transportation, and handling inquiries related to car rentals and other ancillary services. The role involves providing responsive customer service, resolving issues before and during travel, and maintaining accurate records in reservation and booking systems. The Travel Agent will also meet sales goals by promoting travel packages, upselling enhancements, and building long-term client relationships through follow-up and ongoing communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with reservations and travel arrangements, including cruises, accommodations, and related services.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and resolve client concerns professionally.
• Proven sales skills, including consultative selling, closing techniques, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Familiarity with travel industry booking platforms and GDS or similar reservation systems.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
• Prior experience as a travel agent or in a related travel services role; cruise-focused experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional travel certifications are advantageous.
• Reliable work ethic
