Job Summary
Responsible for customer service particularly regarding backend customer support.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for agent support.
- Provides customer service to agents via phone, email and in person as necessary.
- Follows up on Service Requests (SRs) as needed to track and handle agent issues.
- Communicates with carriers to resolve agent issues.
- Provides full circle customer service to verify agent issues are properly and thoroughly addressed.
- Researches agents’ statuses with carriers.
- Navigates reports in Microsoft Excel
- Assists in updating RAMS with certification/onboarding report information.
- Assist agents with ordering supplies.
- Assumes responsibility for various cross-training assignments.
- Assists with processing contracting and licensing as necessary.
- Assists with additional agent support as necessary.
- Assists with New Business when necessary
- Assumes responsibility for training new hires, temporary employees, and cross-training current staff as needed.
- Assumes responsibility for miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of insurance and agent relationship.
- Beginner-level working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- One year customer service experience and/or data entry experience.
- One year experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Good communication skills, especially over the phone.
- Ability to multitask.
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, ability to take directions, and ability to work well with others.
