AGTEK Technical Support Representative
This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Livermore, California.

Based in Livermore, California, AGTEK Development Company, a part of Hexagon, is a niche software company widely recognized as the leading supplier of earthwork takeoff, 3D modeling and production tracking solutions for heavy construction contractors. Founded in 1981, AGTEK has pioneered application software for construction earthwork, production tracking and civil mobile apps.
We are looking for a Technical Support Representative to join our Global Support Organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical support for customers and sales representatives over the phone, internet and via e-mail, for AGTEK software products
- Provide a friendly, courteous experience for customers
- Address customer problems within established response time
- Suggest changes and methods for the improvement of our products
- Verify, and if necessary, report defects when encountered during testing, support or training
Quality Control
- Test new versions and updates
- Confirm bug fixes and maintain bug tracking system
Other Tasks
- Assist with the development and editing of training guides and videos
- Provide training and support for customers, salespeople and internal staff
- Assemble and test fly Drones
Skills and Qualifications
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience in computer or information technology
- Experience in the construction industry and AGTEK products
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and self motivated
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to quickly master and explain software
- Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette
- Must work cooperatively with other team members
- Is willing to travel occasionally
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000, comprehensive benefits, and expense reimbursement, along with extensive training, excellent support, and a collegial work environment with long-term career growth opportunities at a leader in this niche market.
