Customer Service Representative / Estimator

This is an on-site position located at our facility in Stuart, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions based on project specifications.
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and order status throughout the production process.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and requests for quotation (RFQs).
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for materials, labor, processing, and shipping costs.
- Analyze project requirements to determine feasibility, lead times, and production costs.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to obtain pricing and technical information.
- Monitor material cost fluctuations and recommend pricing adjustments when necessary.
- Maintain estimation records and update quotation databases.
- Enter and maintain customer information, quotes, orders, and communications within company systems.
- Assist in improving estimating processes, tools, and software for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in Customer Service, Estimating, Inside Sales, Project Coordination, or a related role.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in the metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or industrial industry.
- Knowledge of estimating software, ERP systems, or manufacturing-related systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field.
