Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating complex cases when necessary
- Process orders, returns, refunds, or account changes as needed
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions in the CRM system
- Provide clear product/service information and guide customers through policies or processes
- Manage and organize digital files, records, and documents using cloud-based storage systems
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and calendar events
- Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer and internal databases
- Track expenses, process invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Support onboarding of new employees or clients, including preparing materials
- Assist various departments (Sales, HR, Operations) with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Identify opportunities to streamline both customer service and administrative workflows
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize across customer support and admin duties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
- Comfortable navigating CRM, ticketing, or database software
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
- Professional, patient, and solution-oriented demeanor
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, or office support
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, Freshdesk)
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello,)
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or invoicing software (QuickBooks)
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM
