What You'll Do
The Employee Benefits Member Support Advocate serves as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned employer groups and their employees, delivering exceptional support related to benefits, claims, eligibility, and overall service for clients in the 50+ market segment.
You'll manage an assigned book of business and serve as the direct point of contact for both HR contacts and employees.
Client & Employee Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employer groups and their employees
- Assist with benefit questions, enrollment changes, life events, and eligibility updates
- Support employees with claims, coverage, and carrier-related issues across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
- Advocate on behalf of employees to help resolve service and claims concerns quickly and effectively
- Build strong relationships with HR teams and employees through proactive communication and responsiveness
- Manage ongoing eligibility updates, new hires, terminations, dependent changes, and qualifying life events
- Coordinate changes with carriers and benefits administration platforms
- Resolve enrollment discrepancies and administrative issues
- Support ID card requests and employee access-to-care concerns
- Maintain accurate records and service documentation
- Partner closely with Account Managers, Producers, Client Success teams, and carrier partners
- Participate in client meetings and support ongoing service initiatives
- Identify recurring trends and recommend improvements to enhance the client experience
- 1+ years of Employee Benefits, Group Health, Carrier, Brokerage, or Benefits Administration experience
- Active Life & Health License
- Working knowledge of employee benefit plans, including:
- Medical
- Dental
- Vision
- Life
- Disability
- Voluntary Benefits
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of urgency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Applied Epic, CRM platforms, or benefits administration systems is a plus
