Customer Service Specialist
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for managing customer inquiries and complaints, providing accurate and timely information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers and works closely with internal teams to provide support.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and orders via phone, email, or other communication channels
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products, services, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce complaints
- Maintain customer records and documentation
- Provide support to sales teams in the form of lead generation and follow-up
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer service standards and best practices
- Participate in customer service training programs and workshops
- An associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service is required, with experience in the transportation and logistics industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word
- Experience with customer service software, such as Zendesk or Salesforce, preferred
- Familiarity with transportation and logistics regulations and processes is a plus
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
For this position, the expected base pay range is $21.39 – $26.74 . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
