Full-Time YouTube and Social Media Video Editor (Remote, Global)

Seeking an experienced, full-time video editor for work editing long-form and short-form YouTube and social media videos, as well as online course content in the international travel and relocation industries. You are a good fit for this position if you: - Have 3+ years of professional editing experience and experience editing for YouTube channels (preferably in travel, lifestyle, or documentary niches) - Understand YouTube storytelling (hooks, retention, pacing, and emotional payoff) - Are fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus) or Final Cut Pro - Have a natural sense of music choice, color, rhythm, and tone - Possess a strong attention to detail - Thrive in a remote, collaborative environment with multiple projects - Are detail-oriented, organized, self-managed, and reliable with deadlines - Are passionate about travel, culture, and creative storytelling - Bonus: Have experience with graphic design and thumbnails Job Responsibilities: - Edit 3+ high-quality YouTube videos per week (8–30 minutes each), plus Reels and Shorts - Craft engaging hooks, pacing, and retention moments to maximize watch time - Incorporate b-roll, maps, stock footage, motion graphics, and captions where needed - Maintain and evolve the visual identity and style of the channel - Add music and sound design that complement the tone of each video - Collaborate with Kristin (on-camera host/creator) to execute storylines - Organize and manage footage, project files, and assets in Google Drive - Deliver on time and proactively communicate about timelines and feedback Additional Requirements: - Portfolio or links to YouTube videos you’ve edited (required) - Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week), Monday–Friday - Fast and stable internet connection - Experience with Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar tools - Fluent in English (spoken and written) Compensation & Perks: - Competitive monthly salary based on experience - Long-term, stable position with room to grow - Creative freedom and input on storytelling and style - Fully Remote - Work from anywhere in the world - Opportunities for bonuses and advancement as the channel grows About: Traveling with Kristin is a leading YouTube channel helping people explore the world, move abroad, and design a life of freedom. My second channel, KIQI DJ, is a music channel with educational tutorials and long-form DJ sets. For editing these videos, it's critical to be able to work with multiple camera angles, music timing, and rhythm-based editing. Note: While this is a fully remote role, we’re prioritizing candidates based in Eastern Europe or nearby regions for time zone alignment and collaboration. This position may also include paid travel assignments within Europe. Applicants from other regions may be considered if available to work on EST or CET hours. Salary: $1k - $1.70k
