Centered Pelvic Health | Beaverton, OR | Full-Time | Virtual
Centered Pelvic Health is looking for a confident, empathetic, and highly personable Administrative Assistant to join our growing pelvic health practice.
This is not a traditional “answer the phone and schedule appointments” administrative role.
You will be the first person many of our patients talk to. Your ability to listen, connect, educate, and make people feel comfortable will have a direct impact on whether someone who has been struggling with a pelvic health concern feels confident taking the next step toward care.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to new patient inquiries with warmth, confidence, and empathy
- Talk with potential patients about their concerns and help determine whether Centered Pelvic Health is the right fit for their needs
- Convert new inquiries into scheduled patients by building trust—not by using a hard-sell approach
- Explain our approach to pelvic health physical therapy and what makes Centered Pelvic Health different
- Help potential patients understand our out-of-network model and why we have chosen to practice this way
- Educate patients about the value of individualized, one-on-one pelvic health care
- Schedule new and returning patients and manage rescheduling
- Communicate with patients by phone, email, and other communication platforms
- Maintain accurate patient information and protect confidential health information
- Help create a seamless, welcoming experience from the first phone call through the patient's care
We are looking for someone who:
- Is confident on the phone and genuinely enjoys talking with people
- Is naturally warm, empathetic, and able to make people feel heard
- Can have comfortable conversations about sensitive topics, including pelvic health, pain, bladder/bowel concerns, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and sexual health
- Can listen to what a potential patient is actually saying and respond thoughtfully rather than simply reading from a script
- Is comfortable educating people about healthcare and helping them make informed decisions
- Understands that conversion is about connection and trust—not pressure
- Believes people deserve access to high-quality pelvic health care and is aligned with our patient-centered philosophy
- Is comfortable explaining and standing behind our out-of-network model
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Can maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately
- Is comfortable learning new systems, software, and workflows
- Has healthcare or medical office experience (preferred, but not required)
At Centered Pelvic Health, we believe pelvic health care should be individualized, accessible, respectful, and empowering.
We intentionally operate as an out-of-network practice because it allows us to provide longer, one-on-one visits and individualized care without the restrictions that often come with insurance-based care.
You don't have to be a pelvic health expert when you start. We will teach you what you need to know about our services and our approach.
What we do need is someone who believes in what we're doing and can communicate that belief to the people who call us.
- If you are someone who can pick up the phone, hear the person on the other end, make them feel comfortable, answer their questions, and confidently help them take the next step—we'd love to hear from you.
