Customer Success Specialist, GT School (Remote) - $60,000/year USD
Indexed description
GT Anywhere is a virtual school designed for gifted students seeking to accelerate their learning. We blend AI-driven academics with personalized coaching to deliver an experience that is both academically challenging and genuinely supportive. That vision depends on parents feeling understood, informed, and truly partnered with—not simply processed.
In this role as Parent Success Partner, you will take full ownership of the parent experience. Instead of waiting for issues to surface in a support queue, you'll initiate contact, establish trust from the start, and stay engaged enough with families to identify concerns early. You'll acknowledge achievements, support parents during uncertain moments, and transform strong connections into lasting retention and advocacy.
This position is designed for someone who views customer success as fundamentally human, proactive, and relationship-driven. If you've longed for work that centers on people rather than ticket volume, you've found it.
What You Will Be Doing
- Addressing parent inquiries and concerns through email and chat with responsiveness, empathy, and precision
- Recognizing student achievements and progress through thoughtful, tailored communication
- Building connections among GT families to foster community and advocacy
- Collecting parent feedback and sharing actionable insights with leadership to refine the program
- Developing, updating, and enhancing help content and knowledge base resources for parents
- Waiting passively in a ticket queue for issues to arrive
- Relying on scripts or using inflexible response templates
- Handling technical support or debugging platform issues
- Operating in a silo—you'll work closely with Academic Advisors and leadership
- Viewing families as tickets or metrics—each parent represents a genuine relationship
Basic Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in customer success, account management, or community-facing roles
- Direct experience working in education or with students and parents
- At least 1 year managing digital support channels (email, chat, or helpdesk tools such as Intercom, Help Scout, or Zendesk)
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, warm, and professional communications
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities using documented tracking methods
- Track record of building relationships proactively, not just responding reactively
- Ability to build trust and connect confidently with parents in live video conversations such as Zoom or Google Meet
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating asynchronously
