About The Role
Do you want to help shape the future of high-performance computing for advanced simulation?
We are looking for a Product Architect, Simcenter HPC to join our growing team in Poland. In this role, you will help build and support high-performance computing environments that enable customers to run complex simulation workloads with speed, reliability and confidence.
This is a customer-facing role where you will work across HPC infrastructure, cloud environments, automation, Linux systems, schedulers and engineering applications. You will help stabilise and optimise HPC clusters, support customer-critical issues, and contribute to the development of scalable solutions across the full HPC stack.
You will be joining at an exciting stage, as we expand our Simcenter HPC capability within EMEA. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across current and emerging technologies, contribute to best practices, and become a key technical voice as the team grows.
Rather than focusing on one narrow specialism, this role gives you the chance to work across infrastructure, automation, cloud, performance, applications and customer delivery. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, improving systems, and working hands-on with advanced computing environments, this could be a strong next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll make an impact by:
- Designing, supporting and optimising HPC cluster environments for enterprise simulation workloads.
- Managing complex technical issues across Linux, networking, schedulers, storage, hardware and cloud infrastructure.
- Supporting customer-facing deployments, upgrades, escalations and technical engagements across EMEA.
- Analysing and resolving application, infrastructure and performance issues across the HPC stack.
- Contributing to automation, tooling, scripting and infrastructure-as-code improvements.
- Collaborating with consultants, solution architects, project managers and technical teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Strong Linux expertise, ideally across Red Hat Enterprise Linux or equivalent environments, including networking, security and system internals.
- Hands-on experience with HPC infrastructure, including compute clusters, workload schedulers such as PBS, Slurm or LSF, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of on-premise, cloud or hybrid HPC environments, with exposure to platforms such as OCI, AWS or Azure.
- Practical experience with scripting or programming, such as Python or Bash, and an interest in automation and tooling.
- Understanding of hardware infrastructure, including servers, GPUs or accelerators, InfiniBand, RDMA, MPI and parallel storage.
- A collaborative, investigative mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support customer-critical incidents.
- Experience with Simcenter HPC, HPCWorks or Siemens simulation tools.
- Exposure to CAE, EDA or other engineering simulation workloads.
- Knowledge of automation, DevOps or infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, OpenTofu, CI/CD or source control.
- Experience with containers or orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes in HPC environments.
- The ability to create integrations, plugins, hooks or application definitions to improve functionality and performance
