Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT Architecture experience, including 3 years of leadership experience overseeing architects, technical teams, or architecture functions.

• Understanding of utility operations

• Experience establishing architecture governance, standards, and technology roadmaps.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies - Hands-on experience utilizing Jira and Confluence.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-ESRI GIS experience - Agile experience -Azure architecture certifications.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Portfolio Architect to lead architecture strategy and technical oversight for one of their portfolios. This individual will serve as the senior architectural leader for this vertical, partnering closely with leadership, solution architects, business stakeholders, and technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and broader organizational objectives. This person will be leading architecture review sessions and collaborate cross functionally across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience within utility operations, including gas storage and distribution systems, and demonstrate the ability to lead architectural discussions, influence executive stakeholders, and provide strategic technical direction across a complex portfolio of initiatives. They will be expected to facilitate architecture governance processes and maintain technical documentation within Jira and Confluence. They will also support Agile delivery teams by providing architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles. This role will supervise and mentor solution architects within the portfolio while ensuring technologies are implemented consistently and do not conflict with standards or solutions used across other business verticals.

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000/per year
