Head of Architecture

Head of Architecture – Hands-On Technical, Technical Leadership, Microsoft, Agile, Governance, Principals, Standards – Warsaw, Permanent, up to £100,000p.a. + Bonus.

My client, a leading Financial Organisation is seeking a Hands-On Head of Architecture to join their Warsaw office on a permanent basis.

You will be tasked to define and set up the Architectural function with touchpoints across all pillars (Data, Application, Infrastructure, etc.) This role will review the current architecture landscape, introduce clear governance, standards, and methodologies, and ensure all technology solutions are scalable, well-engineered, and aligned to business strategy. As well as being directly involved in the Hands-On Technical elements, designing and developing artefacts when necessary.

In addition, you’ll lead a team of 3 architects and work closely with Technology and Business leaders to drive consistency and future-ready design.

To be successful you will have

• Proven Lead / Enterprise Architect experience within Small - Mid size Financial Service organisations.
• Strong background in cloud-based or hybrid environments (Microsoft preferred).
• Broad architectural expertise across applications, integration, data, and cloud.
• Experience defining architecture frameworks and standards.
• Comfortable working in Agile / DevOps environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.
