We are seeking a results-driven leader with exceptional expertise in operational excellence and a track record of delivering measurable improvements across all areas of a manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be a strategic, hands-on leader capable of improving efficiency, on-time delivery, cost performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement while overseeing a cable and wire harness assembly operation. This individual will bring broad business knowledge across operations, engineering, finance, and organizational leadership and will be responsible for driving the business forward.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and achieve the organization's financial and business performance goals.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan, 12-month rolling forecast, and strategic framework aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop the capabilities of executives, managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.
- Align organizational priorities, projects, and resources with strategic and performance goals.
- Evaluate management team performance and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Establish service, operational, and productivity standards while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and representing the organization with major customers.
- Partner with the sales organization to achieve business development goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other operating locations to achieve strategic growth objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement across productivity, profitability, quality, on-time delivery, sales, and inventory management.
- Promote teamwork and a high-performance culture across the organization.
- Manage cybersecurity compliance
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing process management experience in a senior leadership role.
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
- Minimum of five years managing an organization with P&L accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within electronics manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Custom build-to-order production experience.
- Cable and wire harness manufacturing experience.
- Fiber cable manufacturing experience.
