Role Overview

At Globant, we partner with the world's leading Consumer Goods and Retail companies on their most complex technology transformations. As VP of Technology, you own the technology vision for the vertical in Brazil. You are not a sales engineer or a slide-based advisor: you are a senior technical leader with the engineering credibility to challenge architectures, the consulting maturity to advise CIOs and CEOs, and the conviction that AI is transforming how software is built, not just what gets sold.

What you will own

• Technology vision and portfolio: Set the CG&R technology direction across AI, Data, Cloud, Commerce, and enterprise platforms, and drive it through the portfolio of strategic accounts and pursuits.
• C-suite advisory: Act as the senior technical counterpart to client CIOs, CDOs, and CEOs. Translate business ambition into technically credible transformation, and say "no" when an approach is not sound.
• Solution leadership on major pursuits: Shape and defend end-to-end solutions for the largest deals and transformation programs, pressure-testing architecture, estimates, and assumptions on substance.
• AI-enabled engineering: Champion the agentic SDLC across the region — AI agents as producers, engineers as validators — and hold teams to measurable productivity gains in how solutions are designed, built, and tested.
• Offerings and IP: Turn repeated client problems into reusable offerings, accelerators, and reference architectures that strengthen Globant's position in the vertical.
• Technical bench: Attract, grow, and retain senior technical talent. Build the community of architects and directors that makes the vision executable.

Must have

• 15+ years in enterprise technology, with senior leadership in consulting, systems integration, or product engineering.
• Hands-on engineering roots: you have built, architected, and shipped, and can still challenge a technical decision on substance.
• Solution-level fluency across enterprise platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow) and architectural fluency across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Practical command of GenAI, LLMs, and agentic AI, both as business capabilities and as engineering accelerators.
• Consumer Goods, Retail, or adjacent industry depth.
• Native Portuguese; fluent English and Spanish.

Nice to have

• Experience building technology offerings or IP in a services or product organization.
• Track record leading distributed, multi-country technical teams.
