We are looking for an experienced Head of DevOps to lead the company’s DevOps and Platform Engineering function.

This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role. You will define the technical direction while remaining actively involved in architecture, infrastructure decisions and complex technical challenges.

The organisation consists of 3 teams with approximately 10 engineers in total. Three Team Leads will report directly to you and manage the engineers within their respective teams.

Your role

• Define the DevOps and Platform Engineering strategy and roadmap.( product experience is a must)
• Lead, coach and develop three Team Leads. ( must have experience leading Team Leaders/Managers, depending on the organization)
• Oversee approximately 10 DevOps, Platform and SRE engineers through the Team Leads.
• Set the technical direction for the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture reviews and critical technical decisions.
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, security and performance.
• Strengthen observability, incident management and SRE practices.
• Drive infrastructure automation, GitOps, CI/CD and cloud cost optimisation.
• Introduce AI-assisted engineering and operational workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product and Security leadership.

What we are looking for

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or SRE.
• Proven leadership experience managing Team Leads or Engineering Managers.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Helm, GitOps and CI/CD.
• Experience scaling reliable and secure cloud-native platforms.
• Strong understanding of observability, incident response, networking and cloud security.
• The ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong usage in AI-powered engineering and automation. (must)
