The AI Platform team within our Technology Center is the group's core engineering team for the AI era — we ship to production, build platforms and own SLAs, not POCs or slideware. Centered on the IRIS MCP Gateway (ARK WAY), we build and operate Noah's global AI infrastructure, connecting Claude Enterprise with KYC / KYP / KYA data and business systems and turning AI access from policy-by-goodwill into an architecturally-enforced control point.

Role Overview

As Head of AI Platform (Director) you will lead the entire team end-to-end across its three pillars — LLM onboarding & integration, the IRIS / ARK WAY MCP Gateway, and business-data application management — owning strategy, architecture, delivery quality, SLA and team growth, and representing the team in Holding ST / AT decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the platform's strategy and roadmap across LLM integration, MCP Gateway and data application management, aligned with the group's two-pillar strategy
• Own the overall architecture, availability (>99.5%), security & compliance (zero L4 violations), cost and delivery efficiency of IRIS / the NOAH AI Gateway
• Build, manage and grow a 10–30 person platform- and data-engineering team; establish bench strength and succession (TSP)
• Drive at-scale reuse of unified access, the Skill/Agent shelf and data-classification across SZ / HK / SG and multiple BUs
• Manage budget, vendors and ecosystem partnerships (Anthropic / AWS) with disciplined ROI trade-offs
• Act as the gatekeeper of data sovereignty and AI compliance, working with InfoSec, risk & compliance (AICOS / N-ARL) and regional regulators

Requirements — Must-have

• 12+ years in engineering, incl. 5+ years managing technical teams; has led 15+ person engineering/data teams
• Proven end-to-end build and at-scale rollout of enterprise AI platforms, data platforms or LLM engineering
• Systematic grasp of LLM integration, API/MCP gateway governance and data engineering; balances architecture with business value
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration and upward communication (can articulate value/ROI to Holding ST / AT)

Requirements — Nice-to-have

• Finance / wealth-management background; understands heavy regulation and cross-border data constraints (HK SFC / SG MAS / CN / US DOJ)
• Familiar with the MCP ecosystem and LLM-engineering frontier; experience scaling platform and organization
• Bilingual (CN/EN) with cross-border team-management experience
