[SDF] Manufacturing DX Solution/System Architect

Who we are

We are responsible for the value of Digital Transformation (DX) technologies and methodologies when deployed to full-scale production sites, as well as setup the global governance for accelerating the development of use-cases across the Hyundai Motor Group's manufacturing entities.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for guiding and supporting deployment squads to successfully launch DX Apps (use-cases), from a system architecture standpoint (tools used, infrastructure configuration), as well as driving the team towards optimal solution architecture implementation (e.g. standardization of codes, building blocks, and other software practices)

■ Providing DX Application Deployment Guidance Based on System/Solution Architecture

• Providing system and solution architecture technical guidance
• Supporting PoV (Proof of Value) Use case execution and design deployment models
• Conducting governance for component selection (IIOT platforms, MLOps environments, visualization tools, mobile development platforms, etc) to comply with standards for development organizations
• Establishing optimal solution architecture cases considering both OT and IT aspects

■ Promoting & Implementing Optimal System & Solution Architectures for DX Application Development

• Pursuing unified HMG SDF implementation and develop DX application development environments with improvement
• Optimizing and updating integrated middleware components
• Standardizing Development Environment Initiative
• Promoting equipment and system communication interface and protocol standardization
• Promoting development tool standardization for next-generation manufacturing and supply chains
• Establishing and standardizing standard infrastructure
• Setting standard solution architecture for manufacturing application portfolio
• Utilizing IIoT solutions such as PTC Thingworx modeling and connectors
• Designing AI solution architecture based on clearly defined application families (e.g., LLM chatbots, predictive models) and MLOps considerations
• Developing simulation solutions (e.g., pre-processing, solver, post-processing standards)
• Implementing coding standardization (including CI/CD pipeline setup)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing system/solution architecture and IIOT solution implement ation experience (technical service/consulting firms)
• Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
• Native proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral communication)
• Those who possess understanding of OT equipment and devices and experience to apply best practices across the entire IoT technology stack
• Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), database management (Oracle, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, etc), IoT platforms (eg, Thingworx, Litmus),

major communication protocols (OPC/UA, MQTT, Kafka, etc), data science environments (eg, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake), and simulations (Omniverse)

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD/CT Pipeline (Git), C#, Java, Python, and Spring Boot, Vuejs, etc
