About The Role

• Nothing changes the world faster than the right person on the right problem — and at this stage, that person is you.
• You'll be one of our first engineers, owning Harper's product end to end.
• You ship fast, decide fast, and set the technical bar for everyone who joins after you.

What You'll Do

• Build Harper's product end to end — candidate experience, recruiter ops, web app, dashboards — from idea to production.
• Own features outright: scope, design, ship, and iterate with real users in days, not months.
• Set the engineering standards, architecture, and velocity for the founding team.
• Work directly with the founders on what to build next.

Who You Are

• 3+ years building production web apps — you've shipped things real users depend on.
• Strong across the stack: modern frontend (React/Next) and backend (Node/Python/Go), with solid data modeling.
• You move fast in ambiguity and care about the product, not just the code.
• High-agency: you'd rather own an outcome than wait for a spec.
