$110-150k base salary + bonus
Plant-Based | Locations: Loudon, TN / Warren, OH / Corinth, MS | Relocation Available
I'm currently supporting a leading global manufacturing organization on a search for a Digital Manufacturing Lead to join their newly formed Digital Manufacturing organization.
This is a key role responsible for owning the site's Digital Manufacturing strategy and serving as the primary digital SME and connection between plant operations and the broader Digital Manufacturing organization. You'll lead the deployment, optimization, and support of technologies including MES/MOM, SAP, QMS, data historians, connected-worker applications, Power BI, and PI Vision, while improving data visibility and operational decision-making across the facility.
This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone who combines manufacturing systems expertise, project management, and strong business partnership skills. You'll drive digital projects from implementation through optimization, troubleshoot complex manufacturing systems issues, and work closely with engineering, operations, IT, and plant leadership to implement solutions and drive user adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the site's Digital Manufacturing strategy and act as the primary technical SME for the facility
- Lead and support MES/MOM, SAP, QMS, historians, and connected-worker/mobile applications
- Drive digital projects through deployment, testing, optimization, and ongoing support
- Improve manufacturing data visibility through Power BI, PI Vision, and other digital platforms
- Troubleshoot complex systems issues and lead change management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years supporting and/or developing manufacturing systems
- Strong manufacturing/plant-floor experience, ideally within CPG, packaging, paper, hygiene, or other highly automated environments
- Direct experience with MES/MOM, SAP, SCADA, QMS, historians, or other interconnected manufacturing systems
- Experience leading digital/manufacturing technology projects, including implementation, troubleshooting, and user adoption
- Strong communication skills with the ability to operate independently while partnering across engineering, operations, IT, and plant leadership
If you're looking to take ownership of Digital Manufacturing strategy at a major manufacturing facility while working across MES, SAP, analytics, connected-worker technologies, and smart manufacturing initiatives, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact and grow within a newly established digital organization.
