In this role, you will impact the future of Honeywell Aerospace’s software products by shaping architectural strategies, ensuring technical quality, and enabling the delivery of high-value solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced software architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams.
- Participate in architectural reviews, code quality assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 6 years of proven experience in software architecture design and development, with a focus on data, analytics, and AI.
- Knowledge of data analytics design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- 6 years of hands-on experience developing data using Gov Cloud, or Python, spark, databricks, Gemini, Agentic AI, including experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous frameworks such as Python (FastAPI) or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern tools such as LangGraph and LangChain.
- Experience building responsive, data-driven user interfaces using modern UI frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of Power BI and C#, knowledge Graph
- Knowledge of vector databases for semantic search, alongside traditional relational databases.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs from multiple providers.
- Experience with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in integrating security best practices into software architecture.
- Track record of delivering complex software architecture projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Analytical skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation
