The Organisation:

The Catholic Archdiocese of Perth is the Metropolitan See for Western Australia, encompassing an area of nearly half a million square kilometres and led by the Most Rev Timothy Costelloe SDB, Archbishop of Perth. Established in 1845, the Archdiocese of Perth is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Australia spanning from Jurien Bay in the north to Port Kennedy in the south and across to the border of South Australia in the east. With some 103 parishes and 25 agencies, offices and organisations, the Archdiocese provides services and support in the areas of disability, social, youth, formation and family, employing more than 150 people.

The Position:

Leading a team of four, this newly created position will be responsible for the review, recommendation and then implementation of the ICT strategy across the Archdiocese. This will encompass the prioritisation and appropriate stewardship of IT initiatives through the coordination, evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT infrastructure.

Your remit will be broad and include oversight of the technical integration of software solutions, IT operations, Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives, Internet, Intranet and Cybersecurity.

About You:

This is a senior and highly influential role that will require:

• Relevant post-graduate tertiary qualifications.
• Proven, significant experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital technologies, network and systems administration.
• Ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing culture within your team and across the organisation.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, solutions focussed and strategic mindset.
