The RoleNeutron Logic is seeking a strategic, technically fluent, and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead our corporate finance, project finance, capital formation, and blockchain-enabled financial strategy. This is not a traditional CFO position. The successful candidate must understand how conventional finance, energy infrastructure, blockchain, and decentralized finance can work together. You will help develop responsible financial models for distributed-energy projects while evaluating technologies such as smart contracts, tokenized real-world assets, stablecoin settlement, and on-chain financial infrastructure. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, board, investors, legal counsel, and strategic partners to ensure that every financial innovation is commercially sound, technically credible, secure, and compliant.

What You’ll Do

Corporate and strategic finance Develop Neutron Logic’s financial strategy, operating plan, budgets, forecasts, and capital-allocation framework. Advise leadership on pricing, business models, partnerships, market expansion, and investment decisions. Oversee cash management, accounting, financial reporting, tax planning, internal controls, and risk management. Establish executive and board-level reporting with clear financial and operational performance indicators. Build the finance organization, systems, policies, and controls required to scale responsibly. Fundraising and capital formation Lead equity, debt, grant, strategic-investment, and project-finance initiatives. Develop financial models, investor presentations, data rooms, forecasts, and due-diligence materials. Build relationships with venture investors, infrastructure funds, banks, family offices, government programs, and digital-asset investors. Evaluate capital structures at both the corporate and individual-project levels. Lead investor communications and support board and stakeholder reporting. Energy and infrastructure finance Build financial models for solar, battery storage, EV charging, microgrid, virtual power plant, and distributed-compute projects. Evaluate project economics, including capital costs, operating expenses, energy production, revenue, cash flow, returns, and risk. Structure transactions involving debt, leases, power-purchase agreements, revenue sharing, tax incentives, grants, and other funding sources. Develop investment criteria and approval processes for new projects. Monitor project and portfolio performance against financial targets. Blockchain and DeFi strategy Help define Neutron Logic’s blockchain and decentralized-finance strategy. Evaluate the use of blockchain for energy transactions, settlement, asset ownership, auditability, and financial reporting. Explore compliant models for tokenizing real-world energy and infrastructure assets. Assess smart-contract structures supporting payments, revenue distribution, project participation, and partner agreements. Evaluate stablecoins and blockchain payment rails for treasury, settlement, and cross-border transactions. Design financial controls for digital-asset custody, wallet management, transaction authorization, and on-chain treasury operations. Evaluate DeFi protocols, liquidity structures, collateral models, counterparty exposure, and smart-contract risk. Establish policies governing digital assets, including custody, valuation, accounting, reporting, cybersecurity, and transaction approvals. Partner with technical and legal teams to ensure blockchain initiatives meet regulatory, tax, securities, commodities, anti-money-laundering, and know-your-customer requirements. Translate blockchain concepts into understandable business cases for executives, investors, partners, and customers. Separate commercially valuable applications from speculative or unnecessarily complex uses of blockchain. Required

Qualifications

Ten or more years of progressive experience in finance, investment, accounting, treasury, or corporate strategy. Senior financial leadership experience within a startup, technology company, financial institution, infrastructure business, or investment organization. Demonstrated success in fundraising, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management. Practical understanding of blockchain architecture, digital assets, smart contracts, stablecoins, and DeFi protocols. Ability to evaluate token economics, protocol incentives, liquidity, collateralization, and digital-asset risks. Understanding of blockchain custody, wallets, multisignature authorization, private-key controls, and on-chain transaction monitoring. Familiarity with the accounting, tax, cybersecurity, and regulatory considerations associated with digital assets. Strong understanding of corporate finance and investment analysis. Experience building financial systems, controls, and governance processes. Strong executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. High standards of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and financial discipline. Ability to explain complex financial and technical concepts to nontechnical audiences. Willingness to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in an early-stage environment. Preferred

Qualifications

Experience in renewable energy, climate technology, utilities, energy infrastructure, fintech, Web3, or real-world asset tokenization. Experience financing solar, battery storage, EV charging, microgrid, or distributed-energy projects. Direct experience with blockchain-based financial products or institutional digital-asset operations. Experience conducting financial or risk analysis of DeFi protocols and smart contracts. Knowledge of tokenized securities, commodities, environmental assets, renewable-energy credits, or other real-world assets. Familiarity with energy markets, virtual power plants, power-purchase agreements, and clean-energy incentives. Experience working with financial regulators, securities counsel, blockchain compliance providers, custodians, auditors, or institutional exchanges. Existing relationships across energy finance, infrastructure investment, fintech, or digital-asset capital markets. CPA, CFA, MBA, or a comparable advanced qualification.
