Head of Information & Technology – Consulting, Oslo or Stockholm

We are looking for an experienced technology leader to take on a key executive role in a large, international technology consulting organization.

The Head of Information & Technology will hold overall responsibility for technology vision, engineering strategy and digital capabilities across multiple markets. Reporting to the Managing Director and joining the leadership team, you will play a central role in shaping how technology enables growth, stronger delivery and customer impact.

The role combines strategic CIO responsibilities – including technology governance, platforms, security and architecture – with CTO leadership across engineering practices, delivery models, innovation and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall technology and engineering strategy
• Set direction for architecture, cloud platforms and technology choices
• Drive engineering excellence and modern delivery practices across the organization
• Lead the development of capabilities within AI, data, cloud and software engineering
• Translate emerging technologies into scalable and commercially relevant services
• Drive technology transformation, standardization and simplification
• Ensure strong technology governance, security, compliance and resilience
• Build a culture of engineering excellence, innovation and continuous learning
• Act as a senior technology advisor to customers and internal stakeholders

We are looking for

An experienced CTO, CIO, Head of Technology or similar leader with a strong background from technology consulting, digital engineering or another complex technology environment.

You have experience leading technology or engineering across multiple countries and are comfortable operating at the intersection of business strategy, technology, customers and people. You combine broad technical credibility across cloud, software engineering, data and AI with a proven ability to lead transformation and organizational change.
