Head of Customer APIs & Personalization | Brussels | Hybrid | £90,000–£110,000

A major UK PLC, and globally recognised customer digital brand, is creating a newly established product function focused on Customer APIs, Content Services and Product Information, and is looking for a Head of Customer APIs & Personalisation to lead it.

The Opportunity

This is a senior product leadership role owning a newly created function from the ground up. You will lead a team of 6–8 Product Managers, each heading their own engineering pod, giving you overall responsibility for around six product teams delivering across three core areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Personalisation backend services (the largest part of the role): own the APIs that capture customer behaviour across web, mobile app, and app-install interactions, ensuring they are designed, maintained, and connected so customer activity is captured consistently across the estate. This is a product and engineering leadership remit, not a business intelligence function.
• Content Services: own the APIs delivering customer-facing digital content — hotel, flight and activity content.
• Product Information Management: own the APIs governing pricing, availability and destination data.

What We're Looking For

• Proven senior product leadership experience, ideally owning platform or API-led product functions at scale, with a background within eCommerce/ Digital brands
• Experience leading and developing teams of Product Managers across multiple product/engineering pods
• Strong understanding of API strategy, personalization, or content/data platforms
• Comfortable building a function from a standing start, with genuine influence over how it's shaped

Practical detail:

• Brussels, Belgium (1-2 days in office)
• £90,000–£110,000 (base + discretionary bonus + benefits)
• Permanent role
