Director of Global Engineering

Our client, a leading manufacturer serving global industrial markets, is seeking a Director of Global Engineering to join their team. As a Director of Global Engineering, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the company's strategic growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Director of Global Engineering

Location: Lynchburg, VA Area (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: Up to $200,000

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute comprehensive engineering strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Lead multiple engineering disciplines, including product development, electrical, mechanical, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support growth initiatives, operational excellence, and long-term strategic goals.
• Build and nurture a high-performance engineering culture focused on accountability, innovation, and customer success.
• Oversee resource planning, capacity forecasting, and organizational development to support future growth and project delivery.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience within manufacturing, automation, or engineered products industries.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing large-scale capital projects.
• Strong understanding of high-speed machinery, automated equipment, and machine design principles.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
