You’ll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow the Oracle Platform Team by recruiting and retaining top talent while building strong succession plans, career paths, and leadership capability.
- Own the health, stability, security, performance, and scalability of Milwaukee Tool's Oracle Fusion platform in production.
- Champion enterprise standardization and best practices while thoughtfully evaluating exceptions that create measurable business value.
- Govern platform architecture, change control, release management, and solution standards to maintain a secure, scalable, global single-instance Oracle platform.
- Define, communicate, and execute a multi-year Oracle platform roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities and business outcomes.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategic priorities into standardized platform capabilities that enable long-term business growth.
- Prioritize and deliver a continuous pipeline of new platform capabilities and module implementations while maintaining operational excellence.
- Oversee internal teams and external partners, including system integrators and managed service providers, while owning platform investment, licensing strategy, vendor performance, and commercial outcomes.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for critical platform issues and ensure disciplined operational support, risk management, and service continuity.
- Communicate platform health, strategic progress, business outcomes, and investment priorities to executive leadership and steering committees.
- 15+ years of IT experience in large or midsize multinational manufacturing or supply chain organizations, including significant leadership of technical teams.
- Demonstrated success leading an enterprise platform through implementation, operational stabilization, continuous evolution, and long-term modernization.
- Deep, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, including enterprise implementations and ownership of a mature production platform.
- Proven people leadership, including leading managers and multidisciplinary technical teams, with a track record of building high-performing organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to define long-term platform strategy, prioritize competing demands, and deliver incremental business value.
- Strong vendor, budget, and portfolio management experience, including system integrators and managed-services partners.
- Broad knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and finance business processes and how they map to Oracle capabilities.
- Exceptional collaboration, influence, and executive communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience leading multiple enterprise platforms or a broader application portfolio.
- Experience standing up or scaling a product-based platform operating model and steady-state support organization.
- Familiarity with the broader Oracle ecosystem, including OTM/GTM, OIC integrations, and Fusion Cloud modules across Order Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Execution, and Finance.
- Experience transitioning an organization from implementation into long-term platform ownership.
- Track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-million-dollar business and IT programs.
- Decisiveness in navigating ambiguity and translating complex business needs into scalable platform capabilities.
- Ability to distill and communicate complex concepts into simple, clear messages for executive audiences.
- Exposure to multi-vendor, multi-cultural, global IT delivery and the ability to lead distributed teams.
- Relevant Oracle certifications.
- Ability to travel to other Milwaukee Tool locations on occasion, as required.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stretch, reach, and communicate effectively with others in the workplace.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, machinery, hand tools, and/or power tools.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- May work in laboratories and/or controlled, enclosed, restricted areas
- Noise levels may range from moderate to loud.
