Product Automation Engineer - North Macedonia

Join our fight against cybercrime and become part of our Product Management & Design! We're on the lookout for talented Product Automation Engineer to join us in full-time as soon as possible at our location in Skopje.

Your Job

• You design, develop and maintain internal web applications and automation tools using Python and Django.
• You develop new features and continuously improve existing applications in collaboration with Product Management and business stakeholders.
• You build and maintain integrations between internal and external systems using REST APIs.
• You automate manual and repetitive processes and contribute to AI-powered and agentic tools that improve operational efficiency.
• You work with relational databases, automated testing, Docker and Docker Compose.
• You participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and contribute to development best practices.
• You document applications and technical processes, manage tasks in Jira and support the troubleshooting and maintenance of existing applications.

Your Profile

• You have solid experience with Python and enjoy writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• You have practical experience with Django, including views, forms, templates, models and authentication.
• You have a good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, particularly for server-rendered web applications and dynamic interfaces.
• You have experience working with REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication and error handling.
• You have knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage.
• You are familiar with Git and common development workflows, including branching, pull requests and code reviews.
• You have experience with automated testing, debugging and improving code quality.
• You have a basic understanding of asynchronous processing and background workers.
• You are familiar with Docker and Docker Compose.
• You are comfortable working with Jira in an Agile development environment.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
