Our client is a fast-growing hyperscale Data Center Operator building infrastructure to support top AI labs and enterprises.
DataCenter Critical Facility Lead
What this role does:
Senior-most onsite owner of power, cooling, and critical infrastructure (including liquid cooling). This person owns escalations, risk, and uptime across the facility
What they’ll own:
- Escalation point for all facility-related incidents (power, cooling, building systems)
- Change management for high-risk maintenance
- Incident response coordination with engineering SMEs
- Oversight of colo partners and maintenance quality
- Commissioning support (L1–L5) and ongoing reliability initiatives
Must-have background:
- Deep experience with generators, UPS, chillers, cooling systems, electrical distribution
- Strong understanding of redundancy models (2N, N+1, N+2, concurrent maintainability)
- Power/cooling capacity planning (TIA-942, ASHRAE)
- GPU datacenter exposure (H100, B200, GB200)
Nice to have:
- Electrical/Mechanical certifications
- Experience working directly with colos and vendors
- Experience with data hall build-outs + commissioning influcence
