Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join an international organization and work with distributed engineering teams on critical business systems.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery execution and support alignment with the technology roadmap.
• Drive sustainable, predictable, and high-quality software delivery.
• Act as line manager for engineers, including coaching, feedback, staffing, and performance management.
• Bring technology direction and engineering best practices into the team.
• Focus on engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
• Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner within the team.
• Shape and help implement the technology strategy.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-oriented engineering culture.
• Participate actively in Agile product teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, such as Software Engineering, QA Engineering, or a comparable technical role.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing engineers or engineering teams.
• Proven track record combining people leadership with technical judgment and delivery ownership.
• Strong understanding of engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable execution.
• Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
