You'll be responsible for taking projects from site acquisition through design, construction, commissioning, energisation and ultimately into live operations.

Imagine leading the delivery of multiple hyperscale campuses across several countries, each with its own regulatory environment, utilities, construction partners and customer requirements.

Your impact will include:

• Owning the successful delivery of every EMEA data centre programme from design through to operational handover
• Leading and developing a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers and Engineering SMEs
• Managing multiple concurrent hyperscale projects across Europe and the Middle East
• Driving programme governance, reporting, risk management and executive visibility across the regional portfolio
• Building strong relationships with EPC partners whilst ensuring quality, schedule, cost and safety targets are achieved
• Supporting site selection, due diligence and early-stage engineering for future developments
• Working closely with finance to oversee capital planning, forecasting and programme budgets
• Ensuring every facility is fully commissioned, energised and operationally ready before handover

Travel across EMEA will typically be between 30–50%, particularly during key project milestones.

What must you bring!?

• Extensive experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data centre programmes
• A strong background across design, construction, commissioning and operational handover
• 15+ years' experience within data centres or other critical infrastructure environments
• Experience leading multi-site engineering or programme delivery teams
• Proven ability to manage large capital programmes with responsibility for schedule, cost, quality and risk
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, cooling and commissioning
• Experience managing EPC partners, consultants and major contractors
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working across executive leadership, customers, utilities and regulatory bodies
• The ability to balance speed, quality, commercial performance and technical excellence across a complex regional portfolio

Experience working across multiple European markets, together with exposure to AI infrastructure or high-density data centre deployments, would be highly advantageous.
