Requirements

Must-Have:

• Proven hands-on experience with Make.com and/or Zapier — complex, multi-step workflows
• Direct experience using Claude API (Anthropic) and/or ChatGPT API (OpenAI) — prompt engineering, structured outputs, API calls
• Experience integrating tools like GoHighLevel, ClickUp, HubSpot, Slack, or Google Workspace
• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data mapping
• Ability to read and write JSON and follow API documentation independently
• Excellent written and spoken English

Our mission is to empower 1,000 home improvement companies to grow their businesses through world-class marketing.We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to build the intelligent infrastructure that powers our operations. You will design, build, and maintain automated workflows connecting our tools — GoHighLevel, ClickUp, HubSpot, Slack, Google Drive, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, and more — using Make.com, Zapier, and AI APIs including Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI). You will work directly with leadership to translate our processes into systems that eliminate manual work, reduce errors, and scale our ability to serve clients.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain multi-step automations in Make.com and Zapier connecting our full tool stack (GoHighLevel, ClickUp, HubSpot, Slack, Google Drive, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, Zoom)Integrate Claude and ChatGPT APIs into internal workflows for content generation, client reporting, task summarization, and lead follow-upEnsure data flows accurately and in real time between all platformsTroubleshoot and maintain existing automations — identify failures, fix them fastDocument all automations clearly so the team can understand and build on themIdentify new automation opportunities by reviewing team workflowsTest and validate integrations before deploying to live systemsCollaborate with account managers, content teams, and leadership to translate process needs into working automations

Schedule & Compensation

Nice-to-Have:
