Head of Platform

We are looking for a Head of Platform to join our client in Zurich. They are looking for a new Head of Platform who has already carried responsibility for people, budget, architecture and the successful production delivery of a substantial platform.

Permanent opportunity with latest start date in October 2026

You will be responsible for:

•Defining and owning the complete platform architecture

• Translating clinical and commercial requirements into an executable technical roadmap

• Building, hiring and leading the engineering team

• Preparing and managing the complete platform budget

• Managing web, mobile, backend, cloud, data and API development

• Establishing secure infrastructure

• Managing internal engineers, external vendors and contractors

• Establishing milestones, reporting and delivery accountability

• Identifying and escalating risks before they affect delivery

• Taking end-to-end responsibility for production launch within seven months

Requirements:

Proven engineering-team leadership and Platform Architecture

At least one substantial platform successfully delivered into production

Previous budget and resource responsibility
