Senior Mobile Engineering Manager

What You'll Do

As the Senior Mobile Engineering Manager, you will lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and continuous evolution of our mobile ecosystem while building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

You will work closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, Data, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and world-class mobile experiences across iOS and Android platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Define and execute the mobile engineering strategy in line with product and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing mobile engineering teams across iOS and Android.
• Establish engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, testing, release management, and operational excellence.
• Drive scalable mobile architecture, modularization, platform sustainability, and long-term maintainability.
• Own the end-to-end mobile software development lifecycle, from planning and execution to release, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Improve engineering productivity and release confidence through CI/CD, automation, modern development workflows, and strong collaboration with QA.
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate business needs into elegant, high-quality, user-centric mobile experiences.
• Drive quality standards for performance, stability, observability, debugging, and reliability across mobile applications.
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams to ensure robust API integration, scalability, and seamless end-to-end delivery.
• Manage technical roadmaps, engineering capacity, delivery risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Support hiring, succession planning, coaching, and performance management across the mobile engineering organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-assisted development practices, and mobile trends to continuously improve engineering effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience in mobile application development.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and leading technical delivery in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of native mobile technologies, architectures, and engineering practices across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
• Strong understanding of mobile UX principles, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design principles, and Android platform conventions.
• Experience designing scalable mobile architectures and building maintainable engineering platforms.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing strategies, code quality, version control workflows, and release processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, DevOps principles, and modern engineering productivity practices.
• Strong understanding of mobile application performance, stability, security, and software quality.
• Experience building and operating consumer-facing, high-traffic, high-availability digital products.
• Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, QA, and cross-functional business teams.
• Passion for coaching engineers and developing future technical leaders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with observability, experimentation, and data-informed product development.
