Enterprise Architecture Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an Enterprise Architecture Manager to establish, lead, and continuously evolve our Enterprise Architecture function while ensuring our technology investments are aligned with business objectives and our digital transformation strategy.

This role is responsible for defining the organization's Enterprise Architecture vision, establishing architecture standards, and governing the technology ecosystem from an end-to-end perspective.

A key responsibility of this position is leading the implementation, adoption, governance, and continuous maintenance of the LeanIX Enterprise Architecture Platform across the organization. This includes designing the appropriate enterprise data model and embedding Enterprise Architecture practices into daily operations.

The role will also coordinate the Enterprise Architecture Committee, consisting of cross-functional technology teams, facilitate architectural decision-making processes, and lead the implementation of enterprise technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the organization's Enterprise Architecture strategy.
• Design and govern business, application, data, and technology architectures from an enterprise-wide perspective.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, governance, and enterprise-wide adoption of the LeanIX platform.
• Manage the following activities within LeanIX:
• Establishing the application inventory
• Building and maintaining the technology inventory
• Modeling business capabilities
• Mapping relationships between applications and business processes
• Managing technology lifecycles
• Identifying and visualizing technical debt
• Developing technology roadmaps and transformation plans
• Define Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Evaluate new technology investments for architectural alignment.
• Conduct architecture assessments during technology product selection processes and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Lead application portfolio rationalization and consolidation initiatives.
• Ensure enterprise-wide adoption and compliance with technology standards.
• Drive architectural alignment across SAP, Cloud Platforms, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Integration, and other technology teams.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout enterprise technology transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 5 years of leadership or management experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF.
• Experience with LeanIX is highly preferred; experience with similar Enterprise Architecture platforms is also acceptable.
• Good understanding of the SAP ecosystem.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with application integration architectures.
• General understanding of infrastructure technologies and cybersecurity architectures.
• Experience in technology portfolio management.
• Proven experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with senior leadership.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• LeanIX certifications.
• TOGAF certification.
• Knowledge of ArchiMate.
• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Knowledge of COBIT.
• Experience delivering Enterprise Architecture initiatives within SAP environments.
• Application portfolio management experience.
• Experience participating in cloud transformation programs.
