Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop solutions and functionality that drives the growth of business

  • Responsible for writing and testing code

  • Owns the execution of automated testing

  • Advises on software deployment

  • Work cross functionally to deliver software components while working in collaboration with the product team
  • Design and integrate solutions through automation and coding, using 3rd party software

  • Create, craft and debug large scale distributed systems

  • Lead on writing, updating and maintaining the technical program, end-user documentation, and operational procedures

  • Responsible for refactoring code

  • Advise on the reviewing of code written by other developers

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Digital experience

  • Insurance(short term or life)/financial service industry is advantageous

  • SAFe Methodology - value stream approach

Client background:

  • Custom built solutions (not off the shelf)

  • Understanding of back-end integration

  • Explore new technologies

  • Require adapatable individuals who can work in unstructured environments

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals

  • Leading SAFe
