Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President - Middleware Platform Modernization to lead and optimize our development and operations functions at GCC India. This role will be instrumental in driving our technological strategy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall Dev Ops strategy and roadmap for GCC India, aligning with global technology objectives and business needs.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Dev Ops engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Drive the adoption of best practices in automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Dev Ops, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and product teams to streamline the software development lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies across all Dev Ops activities
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance our Dev Ops capabilities
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates on Dev Ops initiatives, challenges, and successes
- Champion a culture of operational excellence, incident management, and post-mortem analysis to continuously improve system reliability

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in software development and operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within Dev Ops or a related technology function
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and scaling Dev Ops practices in a complex enterprise environment
- Proficient with AI to drive migrations
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Solid grasp of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience working in a global organization and understanding of cultural nuances
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go) and familiarity with various database technologies
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in Kong, Kafka , AWS
- Should have understanding about Tibco EMS and Data power
