Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the design and scaling of cloud-native, distributed, and AI-powered backend systems. The role focuses on building high-performance platforms using Node.js, Python, and cloud technologies, with strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and real-time system performance.

You will drive the architecture of multi-tenant SaaS platforms, integrating event-driven systems, streaming technologies, and LLM-based AI workflows, while ensuring engineering excellence and system stability at scale.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, including 3–6 years in leadership roles
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • Backend systems (Python / Node.js)
    • Distributed systems and APIs
    • Cloud-native architecture
  • Experience with:
    • AI/ML systems (LLMs preferred)
    • Event-driven systems (Kafka / message queues)
    • Real-time systems (WebRTC / streaming)
Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience building AI-first or agent-based platforms
  • Exposure to:
    • Voice AI / conversational systems
    • Video processing systems
    • HRTech or SaaS platforms
Success Metrics (First 6–12 Months)

  • Scale platform to support high-volume concurrent interviews
  • Deliver end-to-end agent-driven hiring workflows
  • Improve latency, reliability, and system performance of AI interview systems
