As the Senior Director, Digital Manufacturing & Operations, you will define and execute Molex's global digital manufacturing strategy, enabling a connected, intelligent, and scalable manufacturing ecosystem across our worldwide operations. Working at the intersection of Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Digital, you will help drive operational excellence, improve business performance, and accelerate innovation through modern manufacturing technologies, data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Our Team
You will join the Corporate Digital organization and lead the global Manufacturing & Operations Digital team. This role partners closely with Global Operations Capability leadership, divisional manufacturing leaders, and enterprise technology teams to deliver digital solutions that create value across Molex's global manufacturing network.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute the global digital manufacturing strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to Molex business and operational objectives.
- Partner with global, divisional, and plant leaders to identify and prioritize technology investments that improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost performance.
- Lead the evolution of manufacturing technologies, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS), warehouse and material management platforms, planning solutions, Industrial IoT, and operational analytics.
- Establish scalable manufacturing architecture, data governance, and integration strategies that connect operational and enterprise technology platforms.
- Drive adoption of manufacturing analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and Industry 4.0 technologies to improve decision-making and operational performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing global team while fostering collaboration across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and digital organizations.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement by identifying, validating, and scaling technologies that create measurable business value across the manufacturing network.
- Experience leading manufacturing technology, operations systems, or industrial digital transformation initiatives within a global organization.
- Experience developing and executing digital manufacturing strategies across multiple sites, regions, or business units.
- Experience with manufacturing technologies such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS), warehouse or material management systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Industrial IoT, and manufacturing analytics platforms.
- Experience leading global, cross-functional transformation programs and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively collaborate with key business partners across the region.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or highly engineered product environments.
- Experience with SAP-enabled manufacturing environments.
- Experience establishing enterprise-wide manufacturing data, analytics, and AI strategies.
- Experience managing global technology vendors and strategic partnerships.
