Having successfully navigated the initial design and prototyping phases, our flagship passenger-grade aircraft is now on the cusp of entering the Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) stage. This is a critical transition from development to certification and mass production.

The Mission

We are seeking a world-class technical leader to take the helm as our highest-ranking technical authority. You will be the architect of our engineering strategy, responsible for shepherding our aircraft through the final, rigorous steps towards type certification. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of top-tier talent, ensuring that our technology not only meets but exceeds the stringent safety and performance standards of global aviation regulators.

Key Responsibilities

Certification Leadership: Take full ownership of the technical roadmap through the TIA phase and into final Type Certification. Serve as the primary technical interface with Civil Aviation Authorities (e.g., CAAC, EASA, FAA) for all certification-related matters.

Strategic Technology Direction: Define and execute the long-term R&D strategy, balancing innovation with the practicality of certifiable design.

Cross-functional Mastery: Leverage your deep expertise to guide and challenge the teams in Aerodynamics/Overall Design, Propeller/Rotor Systems, and NVH (Noise, Vibration, & Harshness) . Ensure these critical domains are seamlessly integrated.

Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering organization. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, safety-first mindset, and relentless problem-solving.

Crisis Management: Provide technical leadership during the inevitable challenges of flight testing and certification, making critical decisions that balance safety, timeline, and performance.

Who You Are

You are a veteran of the aerospace industry with a battle-tested background in bringing flying machines to life. You have a global perspective and are ready for the intensity of a fast-paced, well-funded scale-up environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in the aviation/aerospace industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director, VP, or CTO) overseeing complex aircraft programs.

Deep Domain Expertise: You must possess profound strength in at least one of the following areas, with a working understanding of the others:

Overall Aircraft Design: Integration of propulsion, structures, and systems for optimal performance.

Propeller/Rotor Dynamics: Expertise in aeroacoustics, composite blade design, and high-efficiency electric propulsion systems.

NVH: Mastery in vibration control, noise mitigation strategies, and structural dynamics for eVTOL aircraft.

Global Mindset: Experience working in or with international teams (specifically Ukraine, France, Germany, US).

Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
