The company is expanding its India engineering organization and is seeking a founder-level technology leader who can combine product judgment, deep AI/ML expertise, hands-on architecture, and delivery velocity. About the Role

As Chief AI Technology Officer, you will own the technical and product transition from healthcare integration infrastructure to an AI-native Healthcare Data OS. You will set platform strategy, define the AI product roadmap, and build reporting, visualization, and workflow-automation capabilities that create measurable value for provider and payer organizations. This is a founder-level operating role: you will code, architect, make critical product decisions, and ship alongside the India engineering team. You will also shape technical hiring, team structure, engineering standards, and delivery systems. Success means converting Vorro’s existing trust pool—including high-retention customers and dormant prospects—into renewed growth through reliable, useful AI-native products delivered at speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the AI platform strategy and technical execution that moves Vorro from an integration layer toward the operating system for American healthcare organizations.
• Define and deliver the AI product roadmap across reporting, visualization, and workflow automation, using Vorro’s existing clinical data and integration infrastructure.
• Establish architecture, engineering systems, and delivery standards that increase product velocity without compromising reliability, security, or customer trust.
• Personally contribute to technical design, coding, experimentation, and production delivery, ensuring strategic priorities become shipped capabilities rather than plans.
• Build and lead the India engineering organization through disciplined technical hiring, team design, capability development, and clear accountability for business outcomes.
• Sequence product scope, infrastructure cost, and growth priorities in a lean, growth-driven, PE-backed environment where trade-offs must be explicit and commercially grounded.
• Convert existing customer relationships and dormant market demand into renewed growth by delivering AI products that solve important healthcare data and workflow problems.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• 10+ years building and shipping AI-native products, with founder or founding-team experience strongly preferred and demonstrated ownership from product concept through production adoption.
• Deep AI/ML product expertise, including the ability to translate models, data systems, and automation capabilities into reliable products used by real customers.
• Hands-on engineering leadership across architecture, coding, cloud or platform systems, APIs, data pipelines, observability, and production delivery at meaningful scale.
• Strong product judgment and commercial fluency, with experience balancing customer value, technical feasibility, infrastructure cost, delivery speed, and company growth.
• Experience hiring and structuring high-performing engineering teams, while remaining close enough to the work to coach technical decisions and unblock execution.

Additional Plus

• Healthcare IT, clinical data, healthcare integration, iPaaS, or vertical SaaS experience is valuable because it shortens the path from platform capability to trusted customer outcomes.
• Experience building data products for provider, payer, or other regulated industries is helpful, particularly where reliability, privacy, interoperability, and workflow adoption determine commercial success.
• Prior experience operating in a lean, growth-driven, investor-backed company with rapidly changing priorities and direct accountability for product and business results is advantageous.

You are energized by a lean, high-velocity environment where priorities are tightly sequenced across product, cost, and growth. Healthcare experience is welcome but not required; curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn a complex domain are essential.
