Location: Noida | Full-Time | Fintech / Digital Lending
Fintech Cloud Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing, technology-driven Lending Service Provider (LSP) powering digital lending platforms across multiple consumer brands in partnership with regulated NBFC lenders.
With a team of 3,200+ professionals, 30+ NBFC/lending partnerships and a rapidly expanding portfolio of digital lending brands, Fintech Cloud operates a large and growing lending ecosystem spanning customer acquisition, underwriting, credit decisioning, disbursement, servicing, collections, reconciliation and portfolio management.
Technology, data and automation sit at the core of our operating model. As we continue to scale our transaction volumes, lending partnerships, brands and technology infrastructure, we are building the next generation of our lending-tech platform with a strong focus on automation, real-time decisioning, fraud and risk technology, collections technology, data intelligence, AI/ML, cybersecurity and scalable cloud architecture.
We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead this transformation and take end-to-end ownership of our technology strategy, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity and AI capabilities.
The CTO will own the technology vision and architecture for a high-volume digital lending ecosystem covering customer acquisition, onboarding, KYC, underwriting, credit decisioning, disbursement, servicing, collections, reconciliation, bureau reporting and portfolio management.
This is not merely an engineering leadership role. We are looking for a business-oriented technology leader who understands lending, credit risk, fraud, collections, compliance and operational scale, and can translate business requirements into secure, scalable and highly automated technology.
The CTO will own the architecture and continuous evolution of our LOS/LMS and end-to-end digital lending platform, including Business Rule Engines (BREs) for eligibility, underwriting, credit policies, risk segmentation, pricing, exposure management and automated decisioning.
A major responsibility will be building and strengthening fraud and risk technology, including identity and application fraud detection, device intelligence, velocity checks, duplicate/synthetic identity detection, behavioural signals, anomaly detection, real-time fraud scoring, early-warning systems and rule/ML-driven risk controls.
The role will also own collections technology, including customer segmentation and prioritisation, allocation engines, payment orchestration, UPI/payment and mandate integrations, automated communication workflows, DPD tracking, collection-agent systems, repayment and settlement workflows, predictive collection models, recovery analytics and reconciliation.
The CTO will oversee integrations with NBFCs, banks, credit bureaus, eKYC/KYC providers, Account Aggregators, penny-drop/bank-verification providers, payment systems, mandates, communication platforms, fraud providers and other fintech infrastructure partners, ensuring integrations are secure, resilient and scalable.
The role will lead the development of a robust data and analytics infrastructure supporting real-time decisioning, underwriting, risk management, fraud detection, portfolio monitoring, collections, operational MIS and management analytics. The CTO will also drive practical AI/ML adoption across underwriting, fraud prevention, collections, customer servicing, document intelligence and internal operational automation.
The CTO will own cloud and platform engineering, including scalable infrastructure, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, DevOps, CI/CD, containerisation, Kubernetes, observability, capacity planning, performance, uptime, backup, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
Cybersecurity and information security will be a critical part of the mandate, covering secure architecture and SDLC, IAM/RBAC, encryption, API security, VAPT, vulnerability management, audit logging, privileged access, incident management, data protection and third-party technology risk.
The CTO will ensure that technology architecture and controls support applicable RBI digital-lending requirements, LSP-related technology controls, DPDP/data-privacy requirements, consent management, data minimisation, retention/deletion, auditability and information-security requirements, working closely with Legal, Compliance, Information Security and external auditors.
The role will establish strong technology governance and engineering standards covering architecture reviews, source-code governance, development and testing standards, QA automation, release/change management, production controls, incident management, root-cause analysis, technology audits and vendor management.
The CTO will build, mentor and lead a high-performance organisation across Engineering, Architecture, DevOps/SRE, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Data Science/AI-ML, QA/Automation, Cybersecurity and Information Security, with clear ownership, accountability and measurable technology outcomes.
We are looking for candidates with 12–18+ years of technology experience, preferably including at least 5 years in senior technology leadership roles such as CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology or equivalent.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in digital lending, NBFCs, fintech, banking technology, payments, credit-tech or other high-volume financial-services platforms, particularly those who have built or scaled mission-critical systems.
Candidates should have strong familiarity with LOS/LMS, BRE/decision engines, credit underwriting technology, credit bureaus, eKYC/KYC, Account Aggregator, bank verification/penny drop, payments, UPI/mandates, fraud systems, collections technology, APIs, data platforms and digital-lending architecture.
The successful candidate should also have demonstrated experience in building and leading sizeable multidisciplinary technology teams, managing mission-critical production environments and working effectively with senior management, business teams, regulated financial institutions, auditors and external technology partners.
We are not looking for expertise in one rigid technology stack. We are looking for a technology leader who understands architecture deeply enough to select, evaluate and scale the right technologies for the business.
Relevant exposure may include:
Backend: Java / Python / Node.js or comparable enterprise stacks
Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP
Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Redis or equivalent
Architecture: Microservices / REST APIs / API gateways / event-driven and distributed systems
DevOps: Docker / Kubernetes / CI/CD / Infrastructure-as-Code / monitoring and observability
Data: Data warehouses / data lakes / ETL-ELT / streaming / real-time analytics
Security: Encryption / IAM / RBAC / VAPT / secure APIs / audit logging / secrets management
AI/ML: Machine-learning infrastructure / model deployment / decisioning systems / fraud and risk analytics
More importantly, the candidate should know how to architect, evaluate, secure and scale the right technology for the business, rather than being limited to any particular programming language or technology stack.
The ideal CTO will think like a business leader as much as a technology leader. The person should understand the economics and operational realities of lending, be comfortable discussing architecture with engineers and business outcomes with senior management, and work effectively with risk teams, operations, NBFC partners, auditors and technology vendors.
We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution, has a strong bias towards automation and measurable outcomes, and understands that speed, scalability, security, regulatory discipline and engineering quality must coexist.
The successful candidate should be hands-on enough to understand architecture, engineering and critical production issues, while senior enough to build the organisation, develop technology leaders and establish the systems and governance required to operate at significant scale.
Technology is at the centre of Fintech Cloud's business. Credit decisioning, fraud management, customer journeys, partner integrations, disbursement, servicing, collections, reconciliation, compliance and portfolio management all depend on the quality of our technology infrastructure.
We therefore view technology not merely as a support function, but as a core competitive advantage for Fintech Cloud.
This role offers the opportunity to architect and scale a sophisticated lending-technology ecosystem and play a central role in the next phase of Fintech Cloud's growth.
If you have built and scaled mission-critical lending, fintech, banking or financial-technology platforms and are ready to take end-to-end technology ownership at a rapidly growing digital-lending organisation, we would like to hear from you.
