We are seeking a Product Technical Lead to join our Information Technology team in Irving, TX. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Product Technical Lead, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Design, build, and maintain a multi-tenant SaaS analytics platform with scalable, secure architecture and ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Lead, mentor, and grow a small development team, fostering a collaborative, high-trust, high-performance culture
- Partner with the Product Owner to translate user needs into technical plans and deliver maximum value through trade-off discussions
- Drive engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, secure coding, and performance monitoring, with hands-on coding on foundational components
- Oversee deliverable quality, manage technical debt, lead retrospectives, and use engineering metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years in software engineering or data platform development
- Deep expertise in modern software architecture including microservices, API design, cloud-native infrastructure, and full-stack development across front-end, back-end, and database technologies
- Proven leadership experience guiding and mentoring engineering teams while contributing hands-on to core components
- Comfortable in agile, product-centered environments with the ability to pivot as priorities evolve
- Experience building or supporting enterprise analytics platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, C#/.NET or Java, Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred but not required
